This Privacy Policy describes how Morsely ("we", "our", or "the App"), developed by IBM Plus, handles information when you use our mobile application. We built this app with a simple principle: your data stays yours.
2. Information We Collect
Morsely does not collect any personal information or usage data. Specifically, the App does not collect:
- Your name, email address, or any account information
- Device identifiers (IDFA, GAID, or similar advertising IDs)
- Location data
- Contacts, photos, or any other device content
- App usage analytics, events, or diagnostics
- The text you enter for translation — all translations happen locally on your device and are never transmitted
The App does not require you to create an account or sign in.
3. Data Storage
Morsely does not store any user-entered text. All translations are performed in-memory and are not saved between sessions. This means:
- No translation history is written to your device or any server
- No user messages are ever transmitted anywhere
- Nothing is synced to the cloud
4. Third-Party Services
Morsely does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services, including but not limited to:
- Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or any other analytics SDK
- Facebook SDK, TikTok SDK, or any social media SDKs
- Any advertising networks
- Any attribution or marketing measurement SDKs
The App runs entirely offline and does not make any network requests for data collection.
5. Children's Privacy
Since the App does not collect any personal information, it is safe for users of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
6. Data Sharing
Because we do not collect any data, there is nothing to share. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer any user data to any third party.
7. Permissions
The App requests only the minimum permissions required for its functionality:
- Internet access (Android only): declared by the system but not actively used by the App. No user data is transmitted.
The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or any other sensitive data.
8. Your Rights
Since no personal data is collected, there is no data to access, correct, or delete. If you wish to stop using the App, simply uninstall it from your device.
9. Data Security
Because no user data ever leaves your device, there is no transmission to secure. Your translations remain private on your device at all times.
